The Word of Blake had close ties to House Marik and took root in the Free Worlds League. The changes going with the technological renaissance and the Clan Invasion had torn Comstar apart, splitting the ancient organisation into a worldly faction - ComStar -, and the Word of Blake, a religious zealot faction that clung to the old ways.
